Job description

We are seeking a motivated HVAC Apprentice to join our team on a large-scale commercial new construction project in Arlington, VA. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to build a long-term career in the HVAC trade while gaining hands-on experience working alongside experienced mechanics and foremen.

Pay and Schedule:

Pay: $30-32 per hour

Schedule: 40 hours guaranteed with possible overtime

Responsibilities
  • Assist HVAC mechanics with the installation of commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
  • Help install ductwork, equipment, piping, and supports according to project specifications.
  • Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and jobsite instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and lead mechanics.
Qualifications
  • Previous construction or HVAC experience preferred but not required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn the HVAC trade.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding.
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and positive attitude.
  • OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
