Job description

AI Solutions ArchitectAbout Hubs

At Hubs, we're building the intelligence layer for organizations — where anyone can build AI solutions that spread and compound across the org.

Our team is growing, fast-moving, and ambitious — led by multi-exit Silicon Valley entrepreneurs with a strong track record of creating products that shape how people work.

Joining Hubs means working on problems that matter. You'll be building for yourself, your peers, and millions of professionals navigating the shift from pre-AI to AI-first work. The products you create will be visible, widely used, and part of a broad societal transformation in how knowledge work gets done.

The Role

We're looking for a hands-on AI Solutions Architect to build the solutions our design-partner organizations run on.

You'll work closely with our AI Business Analysts — they surface the opportunity and design the future state; you make it real. You'll build the connections between systems, transform the data so it's accurate and reliable, and assemble working solutions on the Hubs platform. You'll also work directly with our product and engineering teams, represent the customer's point of view, and bring real-world needs back to the people building the product. When a solution calls for something the platform doesn't do yet, you're the one who surfaces it and pushes it forward. You'll have a direct line to product management and real room to grow.

You'll be an early member of our Forward Deployed team, working at a fast pace to help define how we build for customers — not inheriting a playbook.

How the work goes

You'll take a solution blueprint and turn it into something that works — wiring up integrations, reshaping data across business processes, and building the solution end to end, often iterating live with the customer as you go. Cycles are short: Hubs delivers 10x the velocity of legacy technologies so you ship quickly, learn from what's in front of real users, and keep improving.

In practice, that means you'll:

  • Build the connections, data transformations, and working solutions that solve real business problems on the Hubs platform.

  • Partner with Business Analysts to turn blueprints into shipped systems.

  • Work closely with our dev team — surfacing what customers need and pushing new product capabilities forward.

  • Iterate quickly with customers on live solutions.

What you'll build

This isn't web development — you won't be writing HTML and JavaScript. You'll be building on a new kind of platform, using tools that are ahead of where most of the industry is today:

  • Real-time agents that run inside an intelligence fabric

  • Customer solutions built with coding assistants in the Hubs visual development workspace

  • Reusable information and business-logic components that compound across engagements

  • Systems driven by message passing, events, and dynamic context

What you'll learn and work with

You'll get hands-on with the technologies shaping the next era of software — the kind of exposure that accelerates a career into AI-first work:

  • Customer- and industry-specific ontologies

  • Frontier technologies like knowledge graphs, continuous learning, and reactive data flow

  • The most advanced agent and solution frameworks available

Technical background

You should be comfortable with most of the following. You don't need to be an expert in all of them — but you should understand them well enough to be confident jumping in and building:

  • Web technologies, and how data moves between systems and business processes

  • Comfortable working in Excel or Google Sheets, and reading or building the kind of models that describe how a business runs

  • Data formats such as JSON, CSV, and XLSX, and comfort normalizing, transforming, and visualizing data to answer business questions

  • Data sources such as SQL, NoSQL, and distributed databases

  • Interfaces such as web services, REST APIs, and MCP

  • AI chatbots and coding agents, including structured and planning modes

  • Writing effective AI skills and prompts

  • Productivity tools such as Slack, Linear, and Notion

  • Bonus: business and automation tools such as Airtable, Zapier, or n8n

  • Fluency in Spanish and English are required

Logistics and Travel

This is a hybrid role with flexible hours. You'll come into our Bay Area office from time to time, and you might occasionally travel to work with clients.

What success looks like

Blueprints become working systems fast, customers see real solutions running on the Hubs platform, and what you learn in the field makes the product better for everyone.

Benefits

At Hubs, we’re committed to building not just transformative products, but also a place where ambitious builders can thrive. You’ll join a fast-moving, design-obsessed team where your ideas have real impact from day one. We offer a competitive salary, a chance for participation in upside via stock plans, and the flexibility of a remote-first environment. As an early member of the Forward Deployed team, you’ll help shape both our product and our culture, working alongside passionate people who care deeply about craft, autonomy, and creating experiences users love.
