Your role as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker will include several key responsibilities that are essential for effective patient care:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments for clients entering the detox program, identifying their specific treatment needs, and crafting individualized treatment plans tailored to their goals.
• Utilizing various therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing in your sessions, depending on the unique requirements of each client.
• Maintaining thorough and accurate clinical documentation, in compliance with HIPAA regulations and the guidelines set forth by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
• Engaging in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and addiction specialists to ensure that all aspects of a patient’s care are aligned and comprehensive.
• Participating in weekly team meetings and case consultations to discuss treatment progress, share insights, and continuously improve the quality of care delivered.
• Providing psychoeducation to clients and their families about mental health, substance use disorders, and various treatment options available within our facility.
• Staying informed about current best practices and research in addiction treatment, and incorporating findings into your therapeutic approach.
• Managing a full caseload while ensuring that client treatment objectives are being met within expected timelines, consistently adhering to ethical standards and professional guidelines.

In your role, you will work primarily with patients in a detox setting, many of whom are experiencing acute withdrawal symptoms and require immediate support. The diverse backgrounds of our clients call for cultural sensitivity and individualized care approaches, allowing you to make a profound impact on their mental health and recovery trajectories.

The following qualifications are required for applicants:

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Missouri.
• A minimum of three years of professional experience in a clinical setting, specifically offering psychotherapy services to individuals with substance use and mental health disorders.
• In-depth knowledge of solution-focused therapeutic interventions and their application in clinical practice.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills to facilitate client interactions effectively.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Although not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who possess:

• Experience in a detox or substance use rehabilitation setting.
• Training or certification in specific therapeutic modalities such as EMDR or trauma-informed care.
