As a Mental Health Counselor at Encare, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions through secure video conferencing platforms.
• Utilizing solution-focused treatment modalities to address a variety of mental health issues.
• Creating personalized treatment plans that align with the specific needs and goals of each client.
• Helping clients gain insights into their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors to foster personal growth.
• Monitoring client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary, and guiding clients in developing effective coping mechanisms.

Your role primarily involves working with stable, low-acuity adults facing a wide array of mental health challenges. We aim to help these individuals enhance their quality of life through targeted therapy that emphasizes resilience and personal development.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A full, unrestricted license to practice therapy independently as one of the following:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• No provisional licenses or disciplinary actions on record.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
• Strong proficiency in using technology for therapy and documentation purposes.

While not required, experience working with diverse populations and proficiency in using telehealth platforms will be advantageous in this position. Additionally, familiarity with therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) can enhance your effectiveness during counseling sessions.
