The role is entirely remote, allowing counselors to work from the comfort of their own home while maintaining a professional and supportive atmosphere. As part of our outpatient office structure, you will collaborate with a dedicated team of clinicians and administrative staff who are passionate about mental health advocacy. You will utilize digital platforms to conduct therapy sessions and consultations, ensuring seamless communication with clients and the administrative team.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to understand their mental health needs and personal circumstances, using standardized tools and methodologies where appropriate.
• Create individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s goals and challenges.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions for individuals, couples, and families, employing diverse therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Guide clients through the process of identifying personal objectives and recognizing significant progress milestones in their mental health journey.
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in compliance with state regulations, ensuring all records reflect the therapeutic process and client interaction.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in training sessions, attending workshops, and staying informed about the latest industry trends and therapeutic practices.

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Your primary focus will be to support those coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. Understanding the unique needs of each client will be essential in building fruitful therapeutic relationships and facilitating positive outcomes.

• A valid Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current and active Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) license in Vermont.
• Demonstrated experience working with a range of populations, reflecting diversity in terms of age, culture, and socioeconomic status.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and a strong foundation in psychology principles.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
• Able to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively within a team-oriented environment.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, preferably in an outpatient or remote setting.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and remote therapy practices.
• Experience in group therapy facilitation or workshops is a plus.

The annual salary for this role ranges from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package, which encompasses:
