Job description

Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Web Engineer - this is a fully remote role for US/Canada candidates. Visa sponsorships available. Salary range: 170-220K USD yearly plus benefits plus equity.

Our mission is to empower everyone to take action on their data. Hundreds of companies, including Autotrader, Calendly, Cars.com, Monday.com, and PetSmart, trust us to power their growth.

We pioneered the Composable Customer Data Platform (CDP), which lets companies use their own data warehouse to collect, prepare, and activate customer data for marketing personalization and business operations. Our new AI Decisioning platform goes a step further, allowing marketers to set goals and guardrails that AI agents can then use to personalize 1:1 customer interactions. Traditionally, only technical teams had the skills to access and use customer data. With us, every business user can deliver personalized customer experiences, optimize performance marketing, and move faster by leveraging data and AI across their organization.

The Web Engineering team owns our public website, which is the face of our company and brand and one of the most important ways that customers and prospects learn about us. We’re looking for a talented senior web engineer who is passionate about crafting exceptional experiences and cares deeply about the story that we tell customers. As we continue to scale rapidly, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how we position and promote our new product offerings, including cutting edge advancements in marketing AI and ML.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with our marketing and design teams to build, iterate, and maintain our marketing website.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the design, scoping, and implementation of marketing website projects such as new feature pages, blog revamps, and more

  • Integrate CMS-powered interfaces (we use Sanity) that allow marketers to update content independently

  • Build and maintain our design system to ensure we can continue to build with high velocity and high standards for UX

  • Develop engaging animations that enhance product storytelling using technologies such as Motion and GSAP

  • Exercise strong design judgment and attention to detail to ensure that every aspect of our site reinforces our brand identity

React, CSS, TypeScript, Next.js, Framer Motion, GASP

Requirements:

Proficiency in React, CSS, TypeScript and Next.js (Mandatory)

Proven experience with code-based animations (e.g., using Framer, GSAP or Lottie) (Mandatory)

Understanding of SEO principles and best practices—especially around performance, accessibility, and search optimization. (Nice-to-have)

Very opinionated about design and creative with even small design choices (Mandatory)
