Job Description
We are seeking a mid-level employment law attorney with 5-7 years of experience to join their high-performing team. This role focuses on management-side employment litigation and counseling, including wage & hour disputes, class actions, restrictive covenants, and executive compensation matters.
This is a career-defining opportunity for an attorney looking to take on sophisticated employment law cases while gaining mentorship, business development training, and a clear path to Shareholder status.

1. Providing strategic legal counsel to corporate clients on complex employment matters.
2. Managing litigation cases efficiently, including depositions, hearings, and motions.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and review employment contracts, non-compete agreements, and workplace policies.
  • Conduct legal research, prepare briefs, and present arguments in hearings and motions.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on high-profile cases and trial strategy.
  • Engage in client counseling and proactive risk mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in mentorship, business development, and leadership training programs.

Qualifications
Education & Licensing:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
  • Licensed to practice law in Illinois or eligible for admission.

Experience & Skills:
  • 5-7 years of experience in employment law, with a focus on management-side representation.
  • Strong litigation experience, including depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
  • Knowledge of wage & hour laws, EEO regulations, and class action litigation.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
