Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer focused on deployment automation, observability, and operational reliability. The engineer will design and own a fully automated deployment pipeline for Windows codec packs delivered via the Microsoft Store, transforming a manual month-long release cycle into a safe, data-driven process under one week.

Top Must-Have Skills

1) Deployment / Release Engineering & Automation (4+ years)

  • CI/CD pipeline design and ownership
  • Phased rollouts and release promotion logic
  • Automated quality gates and safe deployment patterns
  • Automation replacing manual release workflows

2) Telemetry, Crash Diagnostics & Observability (3+ years)

  • Kusto queries, ETW/WPP instrumentation

  • Define release health metrics using telemetry, crash data, and reliability signals.
  • Implement anomaly detection, automated alerts, and incident generation workflows.
  • Create pre-flight validations, deployment guardrails, and automated gating policies.
  • Maintain monitoring dashboards, Kusto queries, alert rules, and diagnostics tooling.
  • Collaborate with engineering, Store operations, SRE/reliability teams, and partners.
  • Improve observability and accelerate root-cause analysis.

Required Technical Skills

  • C# and .NET application development
