About the role: Field Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Mobile, AL Territory) - Home-Based | $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
We are expanding our field service coverage in the Mobile, Alabama market and are looking for an experienced Field Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team.
This is a home-based field service position serving customers throughout the Mobile area. While this role reports to our Pensacola branch, daily reporting to Pensacola is not required. The technician will operate from a company service truck, with parts and inventory supported through a dedicated Mobile storage facility and our Pensacola location. This position offers the independence of working directly from your assigned territory while receiving the support of our experienced service team.
$5,000 Sign-on-Bonus. $1,000 paid after the first day of employment, $4,000 paid after a successful 90 day performance review conducted by your manager.
What you'll do: Field Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Mobile, AL Territory) - Home-Based | $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • Maintenance and repair of mechanical, hydro-static, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems
  • Maintain service trucks and travel to customer sites
  • Demonstrated abilities to diagnose equipment failures and perform necessary repairs utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools.
  • Record and document the diagnoses and procedures, order necessary parts, and estimate time to complete equipment repairs.
  • Attends and successfully completes required technician training classes
  • Working knowledge of the hazards and practical application of safety precautions common to equipment

Qualifications: Field Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Mobile, AL Territory) - Home-Based | $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • 2 years technical training/certification or equivalent heavy equipment industry experience
  • Must have a valid Driver's License: CDL
  • Ability to read schematics and repair mechanical, hydro-static, hydraulic, electrical, and CAN/BUS systems
  • Must maintain a proper minimum set of tools to diagnose, disassemble, and reassemble components for most equipment repairs (specialty tools are provided)
  • Basic oxy/acetylene cutting and welding skills
