• Conduct individualized therapy sessions that integrate thorough evaluations and client assessments to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic techniques to a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy to address clients' needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care and ensure that treatment approaches are comprehensive and holistic.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation while adhering to ethical guidelines and legal standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through participation in workshops and training sessions to stay informed about advancements in mental health.

Your role will involve working with a diverse range of clients who may be dealing with mental health challenges rooted in various complexities—including trauma, life transitions, and family dynamics. You will play a critical part in providing emotional support and therapeutic guidance to clients who often have limited access to mental health resources.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience is required, ideally in a clinical or community health setting.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards that govern counseling practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with a varied clientele.
• Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team to provide comprehensive client support.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software and related technologies is preferable.

• Experience specializing in areas such as family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment is highly advantageous.
