• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans for clients facing diverse mental health challenges.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions utilizing various modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records to ensure compliance with our ethical standards and legal regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide holistic care to clients.
• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mental health, participating in workshops and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.
• Handle billing and administrative paperwork efficiently to allow more time for direct client care.

You will work primarily with adult clients facing a range of issues, including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. Our patient population is diverse, requiring counselors with a sensitivity to cultural differences and unique life experiences. Your role will involve building trusting therapeutic relationships that empower clients to explore their feelings and develop coping strategies.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing counseling services, preferably in an outpatient or clinical setting.
• Strong ethical understanding of counseling guidelines and legal regulations governing practice.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling you to foster rapport and therapeutic alliances with a diverse client base.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems or similar technology.

• Specialization in one or more of the following areas: trauma, substance abuse, family therapy, or couples counseling.
• Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams, enhancing patient outcomes through coordinated care.
