Job Description – Snowflake Data Engineer (HL7 / Healthcare Data) 

Role Overview
- Design and implement Snowflake-based data platform using Medallion Architecture
- Work on HL7, DICOM, and SQL Server data pipelines
Skill :
Snowflake – 5/5

Healthcare Background(hl7) : 3/5
Key Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and analyze existing HL7 → SQL Server → ETL workflows
- Design Bronze, Silver, Gold layers in Snowflake
- Build data ingestion pipelines for HL7 messages (ADT, ORM, ORU)
- Parse and map HL7 data into structured relational models
- Perform data transformation, cleansing, and normalization
- Reverse engineer SQL Server databases (tables, SPs, jobs, dependencies)
- Migrate ETL and batch jobs to Snowflake (Tasks/Streams/ADF/Airflow)
- Develop data models (fact & dimension tables) for analytics
- Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance
- Implement scheduling, monitoring, and performance optimization
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Snowflake (Medallion Architecture)
- Expertise in SQL Server (Schema, SPs, Jobs, Performance tuning)
- Knowledge of HL7 data structures & healthcare workflows
