• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to identify the mental health needs of patients, employing tools such as standardized questionnaires and diagnostic interviews.

• Provide personalized, short-term individual counseling sessions and crisis intervention, assisting patients in managing issues ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex psychological disorders.

• Facilitate engaging therapy groups that focus on a variety of relevant topics, such as coping strategies, stress management, and self-esteem enhancement, fostering a supportive group dynamic.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including medical professionals and community organizations, to ensure holistic patient care tailored to individual needs.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems to track progress and treatment plans.

Your primary focus will be working with a diverse range of patients, including children, adults, and families dealing with various mental health concerns. • Current licensure in Georgia as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is essential, with a preference for candidates with advanced degrees.

• You should possess a strong understanding of the mental health issues prevalent in a community setting, demonstrating sensitivity and adaptability in addressing the diverse experiences of patients.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are critical for effectively engaging with a variety of patients and facilitating collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

• Proficiency in evidence-based practices and familiarity with brief therapy models are essential for success in this role.

A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience post-graduation is strongly desired, particularly in settings that involve mental health crisis management or hospital-based care. This experience will equip you to navigate the complexities of patient needs and contribute to improved therapeutic outcomes.
