At Mood Harmony Behavioral Services, we are committed to fostering emotional well-being and personal development in our community. Our organization is driven by a passion for providing exceptional mental health care to those who may have limited access to these vital services. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized therapy strategies based on thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' needs.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients, contributing to a client-centered treatment approach.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training through workshops and seminars to stay abreast of advancements in mental health research and practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an integral member of our mental health team, your work will primarily involve collaborating with individuals and families who face a range of mental health challenges. Many of our clients come from underserved demographics and may struggle with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship difficulties. Your role will be to provide compassionate support and tailor interventions that restore hope and facilitate healing.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • Must hold active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical context, is required.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience specializing in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health practice.
  • Proficient interpersonal and communication skills to effectively establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team is essential.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, based on your experience and the caseload you manage.
  • Comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance options.
  • Coverage for malpractice insurance is provided to support your ongoing practice.
  • Opportunities for gaining multiple client referrals to build your client base.
  • Administrative support with billing and documentation to minimize your workload and enhance client interaction.
  • Access to a significant sign-on bonus upon joining the team, details of which will be discussed during the interview process.
