As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate clients' substance abuse history, mental health conditions, and readiness for change.
• Developing personalized, client-centered treatment plans that address addiction issues along with any underlying mental health challenges.
• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
• Collaborating closely with the treatment team to ensure cohesive and integrated care for all clients, sharing insights and strategies to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Providing education and support to clients' families, encouraging their involvement and understanding of the recovery process.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential records of client progress and treatment plans in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

In this role, you will primarily work with adults seeking support for substance use disorders, including those with co-occurring mental health conditions. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and possess different levels of motivation and readiness for change. Your approach will cater to individual needs through evidence-based interventions and a compassionate understanding of their experiences.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid license as either an LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, LSCSW, or PsyD.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in addiction counseling, with a clear understanding of evidence-based practices relevant to substance abuse treatment.
• Strong therapeutic skills, with the ability to motivate and empower clients during their recovery process.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

While not required, candidates with the following experience will be given preference:

• Previous experience working in outpatient substance abuse treatment settings.
• Specialized training in trauma-informed care or experience handling co-occurring disorders.
• A background in family therapy or group counseling methods.
