Location: Remote within South Carolina
Employment Type: Full-Time
Annual Salary: $115,000-$120,000 with full benefits
Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Job Summary
Join a telehealth team providing consistent, accessible mental health care to South Carolina clients. This position focuses on helping people understand how relationships, family dynamics, personal experiences, and current challenges affect their emotional health.
You will manage a scheduled caseload, conduct clinical assessments, provide virtual therapy, document each session, and monitor treatment progress. The role offers predictable weekday hours and the ability to deliver care entirely from a remote workspace.
Responsibilities
  • Meet virtually with clients for assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reviews
  • Provide therapy to adults, couples, and families experiencing emotional or relationship concerns
  • Evaluate symptoms, family systems, behavioral patterns, and current stressors
  • Establish treatment goals in collaboration with each client
  • Use clinically appropriate therapeutic methods based on client needs
  • Teach clients practical communication, boundary-setting, and coping strategies
  • Complete progress notes, treatment plans, and other required records on time
  • Evaluate clients for risk of harm and follow established response procedures

Requirements
  • Graduate degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, or a related behavioral health discipline
  • Current South Carolina LMFT, LPC, or LISW-CP license in good standing
  • Equivalent LICSW credential considered when the applicant is eligible to practice in South Carolina
  • Experience conducting clinical assessments and delivering psychotherapy
  • Understanding of relational, family systems, and evidence-based treatment approaches
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic clinical records
  • Ability to manage an assigned caseload independently
  • Professional judgment when handling risk, safety, and confidentiality concerns
