Sonic Multi Motion Rehab and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team. • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that incorporate patients’ medical histories, ensuring a holistic view of their wellbeing.
• Develop and implement integrated treatment plans tailored to address both psychiatric and medical conditions, thereby promoting overall patient health.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and varied therapeutic modalities to support patient growth and recovery.
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team of medical providers to ensure cohesive care and optimal treatment outcomes.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and rapid assessment skills.
• Educate patients on the interconnection between mental health and physical conditions, empowering them with tools for self-management and recovery.
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Participate in regular interdisciplinary meetings, case conferences, and continuing education sessions to stay abreast of industry best practices.

Our client base primarily consists of individuals experiencing co-occurring medical conditions and mental health challenges. These may include patients dealing with chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, and substance use issues. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in not only addressing their mental health needs but also collaborating with medical professionals to create comprehensive care strategies that enhance patients' overall health and quality of life.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or LMFT in New York State.
• Strong understanding of integrated care models and experience addressing the mental health needs of patients with co-occurring medical conditions.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Proficient in the use of electronic health records and various computer applications related to mental health care.
• Demonstrated ability to respect patient confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries in a virtual setting.

• Experience or specialization in dealing with chronic pain, substance use disorders, or other co-occurring medical conditions.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and remote counseling approaches.
• Proven ability to work in an interdisciplinary team setting, contributing to collective patient care.

The compensation package for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Furthermore, our employment benefits include:
