As a fully remote position, our Licensed Mental Health Therapists benefit from flexible work schedules that allow a balance of professional responsibilities and personal commitments. Although you will work from home, you will have ample opportunities to connect with other mental health professionals, receive supervision, and engage in case discussions through virtual platforms. This remote setting is designed to support both your professional growth and the therapeutic needs of our diverse client base, which includes individuals of varying ages, backgrounds, and challenges.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ emotional, psychological, and social well-being.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are responsive to the specific needs and goals of each client.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers within an integrated care team to provide coordinated and holistic treatment.
• Educate clients’ families about mental health issues, promoting supportive family involvement in the recovery process.
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA and ethical guidelines, ensuring the integrity of client records.

Your work will primarily involve clients dealing with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and relationship difficulties. Emphasizing cultural competence, you will cater to a diverse range of clients, promoting an inclusive environment that respects and acknowledges unique backgrounds and experiences. Attention to intersectionality and difference will enhance your therapeutic approaches and positively impact client outcomes.

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is mandatory.
• At least two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a robust understanding of therapeutic practices.
• Proficiency in implementing evidence-based treatment modalities and a solid foundation in mental health diagnosis.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.

• Experience working in educational settings or with school-aged children is highly desirable.
• Knowledgeable in trauma-informed care approaches and community mental health resources.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about advancements in mental health practices.
