The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and establish a baseline for treatment.
• Developing and implementing customized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with clients' specific psychological goals and needs.
• Providing individual, couples, and group counseling sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as appropriate.
• Working closely with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure the best outcomes for clients.
• Maintaining thorough and confidential client records, adhering to both ethical standards and legal regulations surrounding mental health practices.
• Participating in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development activities to continually enhance skills and competencies.

The successful candidate will possess:

• A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or equivalent is preferred.
• Proven experience in effectively conducting individual and group therapy in a mental health setting, showcasing a strong ability to engage clients in their therapeutic journeys.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques that effectively address a variety of mental health issues.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential for documenting client progress and collaborating with team members.
• A commitment to ethical practice and dedication to maintaining client confidentiality at all times.

• At least 1 year of clinical experience in a mental health counseling role.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including marginalized groups and those experiencing systemic barriers to care.
• Knowledge or experience in treating substance use disorders or trauma-informed care approaches.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
