• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including detailed mental status examinations and individualized treatment planning aimed at addressing clients' unique needs.
• Provide direct therapeutic sessions through a variety of modalities, including individual therapy, couples counseling, and family therapy, tailoring approaches based on client feedback and progress.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans in designated electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
• Demonstrate an empathetic demeanor during high-stress situations, utilizing de-escalation techniques to help clients navigate their emotional distress effectively.
• Collaborate actively with psychiatrists, medical professionals, and community resources to develop cohesive care strategies and improve client outcomes.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions to foster positive interpersonal relationships among clients and encourage collective healing.
• Engage in ongoing learning and professional development activities to refine therapeutic techniques and share insights with colleagues to bolster team effectiveness.

The clients you will serve vary widely in their demographics and backgrounds, including those struggling with anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and relationship challenges. • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, with completion of relevant coursework that prepares you for diverse client needs.
• Current Virginia LCSW license that grants the ability to practice independently.

• Experience in providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families, with proven methodologies that resonate with a variety of clinical populations.
