In this vital role, the Clinical Social Worker will conduct comprehensive social work assessments, offer therapeutic interventions, and support patients navigating their recovery journeys in our remote Detox Center setting.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work environment while maintaining close communication and collaboration with our dedicated team. Our Detox Center utilizes cutting-edge telehealth technologies, ensuring that you can provide effective support to clients regardless of location. As a member of our team, you will engage with colleagues and clients through video consultations, phone calls, and secure messaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate clients’ strengths, weaknesses, challenges, and abilities, ensuring all necessary intake documentation is complete.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, optimizing their treatment plans.
• Identify and implement targeted psychological interventions that empower clients in reaching their personal and treatment goals.
• Facilitate individual and family counseling sessions, focusing on building resilience and fostering positive relationships.
• Provide vocational and experiential counseling as well as family coaching to assist clients in navigating life challenges.
• Collaborate with external community resources and referral networks to effectively coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Deliver crisis intervention services and maintain meticulous documentation to capture client progress and intervention outcomes.
• Offer timely support via phone to clients and their families, ensuring they feel connected and supported during critical times.
• Maintain all necessary licensure for the scope of practice in Florida and engage in regular professional development to enhance your skills.
• Provide constructive feedback and consult regularly with the treatment team regarding client presentations and progress towards treatment goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals in need of support following substance use and behavioral health challenges. As a Clinical Social Worker, you will work with a diverse population, including adults facing addiction issues, mental health disorders, and co-occurring conditions. Your compassionate approach and individualized care strategies will play a critical role in guiding clients towards recovery and healthier lifestyles.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current Florida BBS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals certification from AHA (American Heart Association).
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to apply practical assessment, interviewing, and counseling techniques effectively in a clinical setting.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a behavioral health setting, demonstrating effective clinical practices and engagement with patients.
• Experience with teletherapy or remote counseling is a plus, as it supports our commitment to accessible care.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities that cater to diverse individual needs, enhancing treatment efficacy.

Compensation and Benefits
