Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing our therapists the flexibility to create a work-life balance while still being a part of our supportive organization. While the primary responsibilities are conducted from a home office, our outpatient setting is equipped with the necessary tools and resources to facilitate teletherapy, ensuring therapists have the support needed to provide exceptional care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns, leading to accurate clinical diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing diverse evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client.
• Assist clients experiencing acute mental health crises through timely crisis intervention and support, helping to develop coping strategies and action plans.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records—including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results—ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and health coaches, to offer comprehensive and integrated care that meets the psychological and social needs of clients.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, exploring treatment options, resources, and community support, while advocating for clients’ rights and needs when necessary.
• Commit to lifelong learning by participating in continuing education and professional development opportunities to keep abreast of the latest best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our counselors work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, relational issues, trauma, and crisis situations. Qualifications

• Must have a valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related fields.
• Exceptional clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, providing a strong foundation for creating effective therapeutic interventions.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience working in a counseling or therapeutic setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective connections with clients and collaboration with team members.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidimensional team.
• A commitment to upholding the highest professional and ethical standards.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a clinical setting is advantageous, though we welcome applications from those eager to grow and enhance their skills in a supportive environment.
• Prior experience with telehealth platforms and remote therapeutic practices is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
