Hand models are hired to display products such as jewelry, cosmetics, or gadgets in close-up shots that focus exclusively on their hands. With advancements in technology, many hand modeling assignments can now be completed from home or a remote studio, allowing models to participate without traveling to a physical location. The job requires well-maintained hands, attention to detail, and the ability to follow specific posing instructions via video calls or digital communication.

Remote hand models often encounter challenges such as setting up a professional photography or video environment at home, maintaining consistent lighting, and ensuring high-quality close-up shots.
