Marketing Brand Specialist

You love to create content that is both informative and designed to delight. You are highly organized and detail oriented. Your project management skills are stellar and include effective problem-solving and collaboration across departments. You’re an outstanding communicator with your teammates and can easily work independently. You make sure that everything you touch is designed to the highest of standards.

Your Role at The Difference Card:

You’ll report directly to the Vice President of Marketing and will work closely with members across the organization to control and execute The Difference Card’s Brand standards across of forms of content. This role is equal parts visual storyteller and educator, bringing clarity and cohesion to materials designed for brokers, employers, and members.

This role will manage strategic initiatives in collaboration with Client Services, Client Success, Education/Implementation, Member Services, and the New Business Sales Team. You’ll partner with Executive Leadership and cross-functional teams throughout the organization to support the execution and consistency of The Difference Card brand across all customer and employee-facing materials.

This position requires both creative vision and strategic execution skills to maintain brand guidelines, templates, and creative assets.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Championing the brand and ensuring consistent adherence to The Difference Card brand style and voice. Ensuring all marketing materials utilize the proper logo, color palette, brand voice, and meet brand standards.

• Creating content to educate our three core audiences: health insurance brokers, employer groups, and employees/members. Content examples include PowerPoint Presentations, Educational Flyers, Proposals, Pitch Decks, Guides, Microsites, Benefit Kits, Email & Text Member Communications, and more.

• Working collaboratively with the Sales Team to create prospecting materials, broker-requested content and pitch decks.

• Supporting our Services Team to create client and member content that educates and informs while adhering to brand standards.

• Maintaining the storage and organization of digital assets in a way that is easy for team members to access and personalize.

• Leading the branding and implementation any new products or solutions that Difference Card launches.

Skills and Experience You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, journalism or equivalent preferred.

• 2+ years' experience in branding, graphic design, instructional design or marketing

• Proficient in Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).

• Good project management skills, including problem-solving, collaboration, and communication.

• Strong portfolio showcasing visual design and brand consistency.

• An outstanding communicator who writes effectively and appropriately for different media and audiences.

• A strong sense of personal responsibility and initiative.

• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities and high expectations for delivery.

• Creative and innovative thinker. Willing to learn new or unfamiliar tasks or platforms.
