About the Role:
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team in producing custom, high-quality yearbooks and promotional materials for public safety agencies (Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS, and First Responders). Public safety yearbooks serve as lasting historical records, making accuracy, organization, and visual excellence essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design & Page Layout: Create clean, professional multi-page layouts featuring photos, department histories, personnel rosters, and special features.
• Production & File Prep: Manage projects from concept through final prepress/print production, ensuring consistent typography, color, and formatting.
• Photo Editing & Formatting: Edit, crop, and prepare high volumes of photographs for print and digital publishing.
• Data & Detail Management: Accurately organize and place large volumes of names, titles, logos, and organizational info.
• Client Collaboration: Incorporate client feedback, branding preferences, and requested revisions while meeting strict production deadlines.
Qualifications:
• Background in graphic design, publishing, or multi-page layout (yearbooks, magazines, catalogs, or directories preferred).
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign and Photoshop (Illustrator/Lightroom a plus).
