Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking a Business Solution Architect (BSA) to lead the design and delivery of enterprise business solutions that enable digital transformation across functions such as engineering, finance, operations, program management, and supply chain. This individual contributor will partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and program leadership to align solution delivery to operational priorities, strategic goals, and measurable business outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience leading transformation and technology implementation efforts and can translate business needs into scalable, secure, data-driven, and user-centered solutions. This role leads solutioning activities for complex initiatives, driving execution across solution strategy, requirements, design, implementation, stakeholder engagement, and adoption to ensure successful business outcomes. This role bridges business strategy, data, and technology, ensuring enterprise solutions are practical, scalable, and deliver measurable operational value.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead business solution architecture for complex enterprise initiatives supporting digital transformation and strategic business objectives.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, program teams, IT, engineering, and data organizations to identify priorities, define solution strategies, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Translate business challenges into scalable, secure, and sustainable solution designs by leading requirements gathering, process analysis, solution architecture, and evaluation of solution alternatives.
  • Guide end-to-end solution delivery, including implementation planning, testing, deployment, organizational change management, user adoption, and business value realization.
  • Ensure solutions leverage trusted enterprise data while promoting data quality, governance, standardized business processes, and alignment with enterprise architecture.
  • Facilitate executive and cross-functional discussions, providing recommendations, status updates, and decision support throughout the solution lifecycle.
  • Monitor solution performance, adoption, and business outcomes, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical and functional leadership by mentoring team members, sharing best practices, and contributing to solution delivery standards and governance.
  • Operate with a high degree of independence while managing multiple initiatives and influencing decisions across business and technical organizations.
  • Approximately 10-20% travel required; travel may increase periodically based on implementation activity, stakeholder workshops, onsite ramp-up, or enterprise deployments.
  • No security clearance required for this role.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
  • 9+ years of experience in business solution architecture, business analysis, systems analysis, enterprise transformation, IT, data/analytics, or a related discipline.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience supporting or leading complex solution delivery efforts involving multiple stakeholders, functions, and technologies.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical or operational solutions.
  • Experience working across business and technical organizations to drive alignment, prioritization, and execution.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder management, requirements gathering, process mapping, solution planning, and implementation support or oversight.
  • Experience with enterprise data and analytics environments, including data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, operate effectively in ambiguity, and drive work forward with limited oversight.
  • Experience designing and implementing operational business applications using Palantir Foundry is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or other iterative development frameworks.
  • Experience with enterprise analytics and data technologies such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working with enterprise business applications and delivery tools such as SAP, PeopleSoft, CostPoint, Hyperion, Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
  • Experience integrating business processes, data, and technology across functions such as engineering, finance, operations, program management, or supply chain.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $132,000-$245,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $115,000-$213,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
