Job description

Why Work Here?
At Arkatechture, we have a simple shared mission: to build a sustainable organization built upon three pillars:  Do something meaningful, With a great team, Earning what you deserve.

Founded in 2012, Arkatechture has grown into a nationally recognized data and technology company, partnering with organizations across the fintech, AI, and financial services spaces. We combine deep industry knowledge with technical expertise to help our clients unlock the full potential of their data. Our team is made up of curious, collaborative, and community-minded professionals who are passionate about solving complex problems and staying ahead of what's next in data and technology. While our roots are in New England, our reach is nationwide, and we support flexible, remote-friendly work to match.

The Position
Arkatechture is seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Account Executive to drive growth for our Professional Services division. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a consultative selling environment, where understanding client business challenges, shaping tailored solutions, and building long-term partnerships matter more than transactional sales.
You will work closely with delivery leaders, data architects, and executive stakeholders to position consulting solutions across data strategy, data engineering, analytics, cloud modernization, and AI enablement initiatives. This is not a high-volume sales role; it is a strategic role focused on quality engagements, trusted relationships, and measurable client outcomes.
As an Account Executive at Arkatechture, you will own the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and discovery through proposal development, negotiation, and close. You will collaborate closely with our consulting and technical teams to develop customized solutions that help organizations modernize their data platforms, improve decision-making, and unlock business value from their data.

We are looking for someone who combines strong business acumen with technical curiosity, executive presence, and a genuine passion for helping clients solve complex challenges.
How to Apply
Please send a cover letter and resume with your application. You must submit both documents to be considered for the position. We're building a diverse team of people who care about doing meaningful work with great people. If that excites you, apply and let's start the conversation.

Partnership Development and Relationship Management
  • Build and expand relationships with new and existing partners that operate in the Data Lake, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence markets
  • These partners may be technology vendors, consultants or other operators in the markets and industries Arkatechture sells into
  • These relationships should become a source of referrals and co-selling opportunities for you
Client Development & Relationship Management
  • Build and expand relationships with mid-market and enterprise clients, serving as a trusted advisor on data and analytics initiatives
  • Develop executive-level relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CFOs, and business leaders
  • Identify opportunities for long-term strategic partnerships and account expansion
Consultative Selling
  • Lead discovery conversations focused on understanding business objectives and organizational challenges, not just technical requirements
  • Translate client needs into tailored consulting engagements across:
    • Data strategy & governance
    • Data platform modernization
    • Cloud data platforms and lakehouse architectures
    • Business intelligence & analytics
    • AI / ML enablement
  • Partner with internal delivery and technical teams to co-create solutions and develop compelling proposals
  • Articulate the value of Arkatechture's consulting capabilities in a way that connects technical solutions to measurable business outcomes
Pipeline & Revenue Ownership
  • Own the full sales lifecycle including sourcing, qualification, solutioning, proposal development, negotiation, and close
  • Build and maintain a healthy, predictable pipeline aligned to revenue goals
  • Drive high-value consulting engagements and strategic services opportunities
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility within HubSpot (or similar CRM)
Internal Collaboration
  • Partner closely with consulting, delivery, and practice leaders to ensure proposed solutions are achievable, impactful, and aligned with client goals
  • Provide market feedback to help shape service offerings and go-to-market strategy
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize opportunities based on strategic alignment and delivery capacity
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5-10+ years of experience selling consulting or professional services, preferably within:
    • Data & analytics consulting
    • Cloud/data platform services
    • Digital transformation or technology advisory services
  • Knowledge of modern cloud and data platforms including Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Proven experience managing complex consultative sales cycles with mid-market and enterprise organizations
  • Demonstrated success closing high-value, services-based engagements
  • Strong consultative selling mindset with the ability to lead with questions, discovery, and business value
  • Ability to connect technical solutions to executive-level business priorities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and proposal development skills
  • Executive presence with the ability to build trust and influence senior stakeholders
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and comfortable managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Preferred Experience
  • Experience selling into financial services, fintech, healthcare, retail, or other highly data-driven industries
  • Familiarity with modern data architectures, cloud modernization initiatives, analytics engineering, and AI ecosystems
  • Existing network within target industries or partner ecosystems
  • Experience working in a boutique consulting, services-oriented, or fast-growing technology environment
  • Experience collaborating closely with delivery teams during pre-sales and solution design
