About the Job

As a Full Stack Developer at Hello Innovation, you'll be at the forefront of creating cutting-edge web solutions that disrupt industries and improve the lives of tens of millions every month. 

Utilizing our modern tech stack, including React.js, Next.js, Node.js, NestJS, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL, you'll craft dynamic, responsive applications that redefine user experiences.

About You

• You’re a tech maestro. With expert knowledge in React.js and Next.js, you create engaging front-end experiences. Your  Node.js, NestJS and GraphQL prowess enable you to build scalable, robust backend services and efficient data-fetching APIs.

• GraphQL guru. You design and implement efficient, flexible APIs using GraphQL, enhancing data interaction and manipulation.

• Styling specialist . Proficient in CSS Modules, you ensure modular and reusable code. Your experience with Storybook and Radix aids in developing consistent, scalable UI components.

• Web fundamentals. You're well-versed in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript, laying the foundation for robust web application development.

• Database savvy. You're experienced with PostgreSQL, designing schemas that support fast, reliable access to data.

• Testing is second nature. You understand the importance of testing, and are proficient in unit and integration testing to ensure your code is reliable and robust.

• You’re a Git guru. Version control with Git is part of your daily workflow, ensuring collaborative and iterative development.

• Containerization is your ally. Experience with Docker helps you maintain consistency across development, testing, and production environments.

• You’re up for the challenge. When others want to run for the hills, you want to dive deeper. Pushing the boundaries of web platforms, databases and cloud computing keeps you up at night.  

• You get sh*t done. You’ve worked with small, scrappy teams and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the job done -- no babysitter required.

• You’re a systems thinker. You have the ability to see the big picture, zoom into the details and understand how all of the pieces work together. Your natural knack for connecting the dots helps you integrate complex systems.

• You’re human-centered to the core. You truly understand people and are fueled by engaging with others to improve web app design, implementation and UI.

• If your code took corporeal form, it would be a Ninja. Your work scales effortlessly from 100 connections to 100,000, responding so quickly that our customers forget they are even using the web. 

• Refactoring is a religion, not a chore. You build solutions to the highest standards of coding and integrity and obsess over Unit Tests and Code Coverage. 

• You’re a modern-day MacGyver. You’ve never met a problem that couldn’t be solved.

• You can’t stop thinking about what’s next. You’re passionate about implementing the latest frameworks, interacting with the latest APIs.

• This isn’t your first rodeo. With 5+ years in the field, you've mastered our stack, particularly React and Node.js; demonstrating your ability to deliver complex projects from conception to production.

Your Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with the project stakeholders to understand the project requirements and objectives.

• Develop full-stack web applications that are scalable, responsive, and user-centric, using our tech stack.

• Ensure code quality and maintainability by implementing best practices, including thorough testing and code reviews.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Monitor and maintain the web app, ensuring that it is up-to-date and secure .

• Stay ahead of the curve, continuously learning and applying the latest technologies and best practices to keep our stack modern and efficient.
