Knew Health is a fast-growing healthcare membership platform offering a modern alternative to insurance. We're building the systems, design, and digital infrastructure to support aggressive growth.

This is a hands-on builder role focused on creating practical AI-powered tools, automations, integrations, and product improvements that help the company scale.

Projects may include AI-assisted member support tools, internal workflow automations, CRM and marketing system integrations, member portal improvements, enrollment process tools, dashboards, and rapid prototypes for new digital experiences

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, moving quickly, and using modern AI tools to solve real business problems while helping shape the future of our digital products and platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build AI-powered tools, applications, and workflows
  • Develop and enhance web applications, internal tools, customer-facing experiences, and member portals
  • Contribute to the ongoing development, optimization, and maintenance of the company website and digital platforms
  • Evaluate and implement AI technologies including LLMs, agents, automation platforms, and API integrations
  • Improve user experiences through thoughtful product and UX design
  • Create prototypes rapidly and turn successful concepts into production-ready solutions
  • Integrate systems across marketing, sales, operations, customer service, and analytics platforms
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and increase organizational efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with developers, designers, marketers, product stakeholders, and business leaders to prioritize and execute high-impact initiatives
  • Work cross-functionally across departments to gather requirements, solve problems, and deliver scalable solutions
  • Stay current on emerging AI technologies and recommend practical applications for the business
  • Contribute to best practices around AI implementation, product development, and scalable technical decisions in partnership with the broader development team

Qualifications:

Required

  • Experience building web applications and software products
  • Strong understanding of modern AI tools and APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.)
  • Experience with automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, n8n, Retool, or similar tools
  • Ability to work across front-end, back-end, and integrations

Preferred

  • Experience building AI agents and workflow automation systems
  • Experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, or similar technologies
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and deployment environments
  • Experience working in startups or high-growth organizations
  • Knowledge of analytics, marketing technology, and CRM platforms
  • Strong product thinking and user-centered design instincts
  • Experience rapidly prototyping and iterating on solutions
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Success in This Role

Within the first year, you will:

  • Launch multiple AI-powered solutions that improve efficiency and customer experience
  • Reduce manual operational work through automation
  • Build internal tools that help teams move faster
  • Improve and expand the capabilities of our website, applications, and member portals
  • Identify and execute high-leverage opportunities to scale the business
  • Serve as a trusted technical partner for innovation initiatives across the company

Who Thrives Here

You're a self-starter who sees a blank brief as an opportunity. You've probably built your skills through agency work, freelance projects, and your own relentless curiosity. You were experimenting with AI tools months before everyone else caught on.

You do well in fast-moving, startup-style environments where ownership is real — and you don't need a manager hovering to get great work done.

The Opportunity

This is not a role where you only execute someone else's vision. You'll have a direct line to leadership and a real voice in how the brand and digital experience evolves. If you want a position where your skills in web design, automation, AI, and marketing instinct are all valued and put to use, this is it.

Please be ready to show us portfolio links or samples of your work.
