Job description

Summary

Strongbridge has an exciting opportunity for a talented, hands-on Google Workspace Migration & Solutions Developer to lead the technical migration and operational transformation from legacy Microsoft environments (SharePoint, Power Platform) to Google Workspace, GoogleSheets, AppSheet, and Looker Studio. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who specializes in reverse-engineering legacy workflows, architecting native Google solutions, migrating data repositories, and ensuring workflow continuity across teams.

Candidates must be clearable for a public trust and be a US Citizen or Green Card holder and have lived in the US for the past 3 years consecutively.

Duties

  • Re-architect legacy SharePoint sites, document libraries, and Microsoft Power Platform tools into scalable Google Workspace equivalents, including AppSheet, Google Sites, Shared Drives, and Apps Script.
  • Translate and rebuild complex Power Automate multi-stage approvals, automated triggers, and integrations using Google Apps Script, AppSheet automations, and Workspace webhooks.
  • Migrate low-code Microsoft Power Apps into responsive, robust Google AppSheet applications featuring role-based access control and relational data schemas.
  • Transition and optimize complex Excel/Access models and SharePoint Lists into Google Sheets and BigQuery backends utilizing advanced formulas (QUERY, FILTER, ARRAYFORMULA, LAMBDA), Apps Script triggers, and Connected Sheets.
  • Replicate and modernize Power BI reports and dashboards within Google Looker Studio, establishing direct data connections to Sheets, BigQuery, and third-party APIs.
  • Design and implement granular access controls and permissions across Google Shared Drives, Sites, and Apps to match or exceed existing security and governance policies.
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation and user-enablement materials to support organizational change management.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent with at least 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Deep hands-on experience in administration, configuration, and solution development within the Google Workspace Enterprise ecosystem.
  • Advanced development proficiency in Google Apps Script (JavaScript), HTML/CSS for Workspace extensions, and RESTful API integrations with Google Workspace APIs.
  • Proven track record building enterprise-grade AppSheet solutions from complex relational datasets with custom UX views, workflow triggers, and security filters.
  • Demonstrated mastery in Google Sheets data modeling, performance tuning for large datasets, and enterprise dashboard creation in Google Looker Studio.
  • Direct technical experience analyzing, auditing, and decomposing Microsoft SharePoint architectures, Power Automate flows, and Power Apps logic.
  • Strong understanding of Google Workspace security architecture, including Shared Drive permission hierarchies, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and OAuth app controls.
  • Please note: Candidates must be clearable for a public trust and be a US Citizen or Green Card holder and have lived in the US for the past 3 years consecutively.

Desired Skills

  • Google Cloud Certified Professional Google Workspace Administrator or Professional Cloud Developer.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, BigQuery, and Cloud IAM.
