Remote Google Mapping Driver information

What is a remote Google mapping driver?

Remote Google Mapping Drivers are individuals contracted or employed to drive specific routes while operating vehicles equipped with specialized cameras and GPS equipment to collect imagery and mapping data for Google Maps. Their work helps update and expand the Street View feature, providing up-to-date visuals of roads, landmarks, and neighborhoods around the world. These drivers typically follow predetermined routes and adhere to strict safety and privacy protocols. The position often involves travel, attention to detail, and basic technical skills to manage the mapping equipment. Remote drivers may operate in various locations depending on project needs.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a remote Google mapping driver?

To thrive as a Remote Google Mapping Driver, you generally need a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and basic technical proficiency with navigation and mobile mapping equipment. Familiarity with GPS devices, custom mapping software, and Google’s proprietary data collection tools is typically required. These abilities ensure high-quality map data collection and efficient project completion while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

What are common challenges faced by remote Google mapping drivers and how can they be addressed?

Job description

About Ashmont (a Farsyt Company)

Ashmont is an independent insurance agency built for producers who want to spend 90% of their day selling and 0% on admin. We have rebuilt the traditional agency model from the ground up, using an AI-native tech stack to handle the data extraction, ACORD mapping, and appetite matching that usually stalls commercial deals.

We aren't a "legacy shop" stuck in the 90s. We are a high-performance, tech-forward agency that invests heavily in our people and our B2B pipeline. We provide the leads, the licensed CSR support, and the carrier access; you provide the risk expertise and closing skills.

The Role

We are looking for a high-output Commercial Lines Producer to build and manage a sophisticated book of business. This role is designed for a "hunter" who understands that the bottleneck in commercial insurance is usually the time spent on manual submissions.

At Ashmont, we’ve removed those roadblocks. Your production isn't capped by how many applications you can type, but by how many business owners you can advise.

The Ashmont Advantage
  • The B2B Lead Engine: We provide the fuel. We spend heavily on high-intent commercial marketing across LinkedIn, Google Search, and SEO to target specific industries and niches. You start with a consistent flow of inbound business inquiries.

  • AI-Native Workflow: Our systems handle the heavy lifting. We use AI to extract data from prior dec pages and auto-populate ACORD forms, instantly identifying which carriers have the appetite for the risk.

  • Dedicated Service Team: A licensed Commercial CSR team manages the "post-sale" grind—Certificates of Insurance (COIs), endorsements, and audits—so you can stay focused on hunting new business.

What You’ll Do
  • Consult & Close: Manage a pipeline of inbound commercial prospects, ranging from small businesses to mid-market accounts.

  • Risk Strategy: Conduct professional risk assessments and provide consultative advice on General Liability, Workers' Comp, Professional Liability (E&O), Cyber, and more.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain referral relationships with CPAs, commercial real estate brokers, and attorneys.

  • Industry Expertise: Help us refine our marketing by identifying profitable niches and providing feedback on carrier appetite.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a "Launchpad" model designed to maximize your income while building a high-value, long-term renewal book.

  • Year 1 Salary: $60,000–$100,000 (Base salary is not a draw—you keep 100% of your salary plus commissions).

  • Commission Structure:

    • 50% Commission on New Business.

    • 25% Commission on Renewals.

  • Year 2 & Beyond: After Month 12, you transition to a 100% commission model. Because we feed you high-intent B2B leads and handle the COIs and audits for you, your capacity to manage a massive book of business is double that of a traditional agency.

  • Benefits: Health, dental, and vision package.

  • Equity: Consideration for equity participation for producers who contribute to the agency’s strategic growth.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: 2+ years as a licensed Commercial P&C producer. You should be comfortable discussing various coverages (GL, WC, Umbrella, Cyber).

  • Tech-Fluent: You understand that technology is a competitive advantage and are eager to use AI tools to outpace legacy competitors.

  • The Hunter Mindset: You are driven by production and want a platform that removes the "Admin Tax" from your day.

  • Licensing: Active P&C producer license. We sponsor non-resident licenses to help you write business across multiple states.

Location

Remote or Hybrid. We are built for the modern workforce. Our cloud-based stack allows you to manage your commercial pipeline from anywhere, with full support from our headquarters.
