Tasks: 

  • Oversee an ongoing book of business by developing individualized SEO strategies and performing ongoing optimization work; this includes technical audits, keyword research, content strategy adjustments, and performance analysis throughout the client lifecycle to ensure long-term growth 
  • Perform comprehensive SEO website audits and leverage knowledge of technical SEO to identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations to other teams and clients 
  • Manage client migrations by identifying top-performing URLs and conducting pre- and post-launch audits to mitigate traffic and keyword loss 
  • Perform keyword research and user-intent analysis using multiple tools and critical evaluation to guide the optimization of new and existing content and ensure alignment with overarching goals
  • Create SEO-optimized content for local business listings, ensuring accurate business information, strategic keyword integration, and alignment with local search best practices to improve visibility and drive conversions 
  • Collaborate cross-team to enhance ongoing campaign strategies, making data driven adjustments to improve performance and ensure long term effectiveness
  • Manage workload across client accounts by prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and supporting overflow work, while adapting to client priorities and business needs 
  • Stay current with SEO industry trends and large language model (LLM) advancements, applying emerging insights to refine strategies, maintain best practices, and sustain competitive performance

Required Skills & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related business field 
  • Experience using major SEO platforms and analytics tools, including Google Search Console, Semrush, Screaming Frog, and Looker Studio
  • Google Analytics certified 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with AI tools and chatbots  
  • Experience with HTML, Schema Markup, and general website coding best practices
  • Advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including professional content writing experience
