Contract Position - Kangol Golf Sales Representative - Commissioned Sales
Western U.S. - Remote Role
The Difference You'll Make:
You will be the face of Kangol Golf across the assigned territory, bringing the brand story to life through premium product presentations, best-in-class service, and consistent execution of brand standards. Strengthening loyalty with existing partners, expanding market presence with new, brand-right accounts, and ensuring that Kangol is positioned with the right assortments, messaging, and visibility to drive sustainable growth.
Success Metrics:
- Elevate the Kangol Golf brand with existing accounts through consistent brand storytelling, premium presentations, and top-tier partner service
- Identify and secure new, brand-right accounts that expand Kangol Golf's market presence and strengthen brand perception and awareness
- Present seasonal assortments and key franchises in a way that brings the Kangol Golf point of view to life, partnering on assortment strategy, merchandising, and in-store visibility
- Manage order submission accurately and on time, partnering with Customer Service to ensure a seamless brand experience from order to delivery
- Ensure consistent execution of Kangol Golf brand strategy, including brand guidelines, assortment integrity, premium positioning, and merchandising standards
- Review monthly results against annual goals with the Sales Director and build action plans that combine brand-building initiatives with commercial opportunities to meet or exceed volume targets
- Report sell-in and sell-through insights in line with company requirements, highlighting assortment performance, product storytelling opportunities, and brand presentation wins/gaps
- Build strong partnerships with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure brand alignment, timely execution, and a consistent premium experience
- Keep accounts informed of PR, marketing, and product initiatives, partnering on localized brand activations and in-season updates that protect message consistency
- Ensure all orders are received in time to support seasonal deliveries, launches, and brand moments
- Travel throughout the selling season to lead customer meetings, deliver brand and product training, review merchandising/visibility, and capture market feedback
- Provide weekly market updates, including partner feedback, competitor and trend insights, and opportunities to sharpen Kangol Golf positioning and visibility
- Participate in two sales meetings per year (SS and AW) to align on brand direction, product strategy, and go-to-market priorities
- Support additional projects assigned to help elevate brand presence and business performance

Requirements
Computer Skills Required:
- PC/Mac literate using MS office, excel and lotus notes software
- Must be willing and able to learn and utilize NuORDER portal and Sales Assistant daily
Experience:
- Prior experience in sales and working with people is required
- Prefer three or more years' direct branded selling experience in the fashion and/or golf industry
- Knowledge of retail math helpful
Education Required:
- 4-year degree is preferred
- High School diploma or GED is required
Special Skills Required:
Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a driver's license and clean driving history
- Must be willing and able to travel as required either by plane, train or automobile
In addition to the above traits, candidates must have the following:

    • Ability to navigate stairs/stairwells to get to job location(s)
    • Access to reliable transportation
    • Ability to work with or near wool material and products
    • Ability to work in environments that can become extremely hot/humid
