Job SummaryReports to the Director of Philanthropy and works as a member for the Philanthropy team. Responsibilities include: supporting all facets of administration associated with the Director of Philanthropy’s role such as donor communications, outreach and meeting preparation; supporting fundraising events, campaign management, and generating advisory meetings and materials in a concise and timely fashion.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Administrative Support: Support the Director of Philanthropy with database management, schedule and coordinate meetings, preparing documents and materials for donor meetings and managing all aspects of a very busy calendar and weekly meetings.

  • Donor Relations: Support donor recognition efforts, including the preparation of thank-you letters, acknowledgments, webinars and reports.

  • Event Coordination: Help organize fundraising events, including logistical planning, guest management, and support.

  • Fundraising Campaigns: Support the planning, implementation, progress and contributions through the Philanthropy team’s GoFundMe platform, and manage patron donor communication through the Zendesk platform.

  • Research and Reporting: Conduct research on potential grant opportunities, and philanthropic foundation and funding trends, and assist in preparing reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Preferred: Familiarity with donor management software such as: Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge, Cici CRM, Zendesk, GoFundMe.

  • Preferred: Experience working in a nonprofit environment.
