Mote is developing a first-of-a-kind technology for woody waste biomass that removes CO2 from the air and produces clean hydrogen to help the world meet climate goals, improve air quality, and reduce wildfires. We are developing modular projects based on our innovative and groundbreaking biomass gasification process that also enables permanent carbon sequestration. This includes a pilot-scale Advanced Testing Center in Los Angeles. We are looking for standout individuals who are driven by reversing climate change to join our growing team, to help build our company, and to contribute to our culture.

We are responsible for generating leads, understanding industry trends, cultivating relationships, scoping and applying for grants and other funding opportunities, and negotiating commercial contracts. Mote’s modular gasification technology can be deployed in a variety of applications, utilizing waste biomass feedstocks to produce syngas, hydrogen, CO2, and potentially other energy products. The Business team will work creatively to find niche partnerships for early deployments of the technology. Target customers for early projects include glass manufacturers, hydrogen vehicle and transit fleets, green ammonia manufacturers, fulfillment centers, innovative data centers, and others that the successful candidate may identify.

Depending on the candidate’s experience and skills, the role may include contributions to business strategy and corporate fundraising. Title is negotiable based on experience.
