- Website development skills
- Data visualization
-ย server, database, HL7, SQL, hosting etc. experience related to website hosting and development
- Governement data modernization and IT project management experience
- Familiarity with MS government and physician workforce
- Government and Healthcare / Hospital domain experience is preferred.

Job Description:ย 

Provide GIS and website development technical support to the agency ,assessing the current numbers, ages, types of practice, hospital affiliations, and geographic distribution of physicians in each medical specialty in Mississippi; and Assessing the current and future physician workforce needs.

Projects include:
- Design dynamic, interactive GIS maps to visualize physician workforce shortages and underserved areas.
- Develop a user-centric, mobile-responsive website for OMPW, focusing on accessibility.
- Embed interactive geospatial dashboards showcasing real-time physician workforce data and geographic trends.
- Implement tools to generate custom reports by region, specialty, and workforce indicators.
- Consistent and effective communication with agency staff supporting the projects and maintaining focus on projectgoals and meeting deadlines.
- Assist with collecting, organizing and leveraging large amounts of data across multiple subject matters to enable more accessible utilization and analysis of the data.
- Maintaining and enhancing physician workforce datasets in compliance with OMPW's statutory mandates.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy for public use and state and federal reporting purposes.
- Supporting the creation and implementation of project timelines.|
- Consistent and effective communication with agency staff supporting the projects, and maintaining focus on project goals and meeting deadlines.
- Assist with the collecting, organizing and leveraging large amounts of data across multiple subject matters to enable more accessible utilization and analysis of the data using data lakes, warehouses, lake houses, catalogs, etc
- Migration of existing website to new hosting location
- Updates to website as directed
- Migration of GIS services to ArcGIS Enterprise
- Migration of existing Mapper application to new hosting location
- Possible upgrade of Mapper to newest ESRI JavaScript SDK using the Calcite Design System or alternative.
- Conversion of Licensure data as directed.
