Job description

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced GIS / GE Smallworld Developer with strong expertise in Electrical Distribution systems, ESRI technologies, and Schneider Electric ADMS platforms. The ideal candidate will work under the direction of the GIS Applications Team Leader and contribute to ongoing GIS and utility-related development projects.
Candidates must have hands-on experience with GE Smallworld, ESRI toolsets, C# .NET development, and utility/electrical distribution environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong experience in Microsoft C# and .NET development
• Solid object-oriented programming experience
• Hands-on experience with GE Smallworld
• Experience with ESRI v10.1 toolsets
• Knowledge of Schneider Electric ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management System)
• Experience with GIS to ADMS interfacing using CIM import files
• Background in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Distribution systems
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• Experience developing and maintaining GIS application components
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Experience:
• Utility industry experience
• Experience supporting GIS enterprise applications
• Knowledge of electrical network modeling and distribution workflows
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain GIS application components using C# and ESRI tools
• Support GIS and ADMS integration activities
• Work with CIM import/export processes
• Collaborate with internal GIS application teams
• Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues within utility GIS systems
• Support ongoing enhancement and maintenance projects
