Job Description

The Senior Enterprise Master Data Analyst will support the integrity, quality, and alignment of master data across ERP and WMS systems. This role focuses on data validation, issue investigation, analytics, and ongoing monitoring to prevent defects and maintain stable operations. The Analyst partners with DC teams, Business Units, IT, and Master Data Owners to ensure BD's product and UOM data remains accurate, synchronized, and compliant with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Master Multi-System Validation:Become the expert who ensures perfect harmony between SAP, JDE, and WMS platforms by meticulously validating critical data elements including units of measure, item attributes, packaging specifications, and complex configuration dependencies.
  • Solve Data Mysteries:Channel your inner detective to identify patterns in recurring master data issues, conduct thorough root cause analysis, and strategically escalate systemic problems to the right business or technical stakeholders for permanent resolution.
  • Champion Data Governance:Apply and enforce robust data standards and governance protocols that ensure consistency and reliability across all integrated systems.
  • Build the Knowledge Base:Help create and maintain comprehensive documentation covering field definitions, integration rules, and approved mapping structures that serve as the foundation for organizational data intelligence.
  • Create Visual Intelligence:Design and maintain intuitive data quality dashboards that instantly highlight mismatches, unit of measurement conflicts, and integration errors, making complex data relationships visible and actionable.
  • Guard Against Data Drift:Implement vigilant monitoring systems to catch system sync exceptions, configuration anomalies, and subtle data drift before they impact operations.
  • Drive Insights Through Analytics:Leverage your expertise in SQL, Power BI, and Excel to transform raw data into compelling analytical insights that support strategic decision-making and proactive risk mitigation.
  • Prevent Operational Disruptions:Develop innovative, repeatable validation checks that identify potential operational risks before they can impact our distribution center network.
  • Build Cross-Functional Partnerships:Collaborate seamlessly with DC Operations, MDOs, Business Unit teams, IT specialists, and governance councils to resolve complex data discrepancies and continuously improve data management processes.
  • Ensure Smooth System Transitions:Play a critical role in testing cycles (SIT/UAT) and cutover activities by meticulously preparing and validating master data to ensure flawless system implementations.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5 years in master data analysis, data quality, or ERP/WMS data environments.

  • Experience performing root-cause analysis and implementing data quality improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work across functions and varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in SQL, Power BI, Excel, and enterprise data platforms.

  • Familiarity with SAP or JDE master data structures; exposure to WMS environments.
