Job description

Job Summary

Environmental Research Group, LLC (ERG) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Training Support Specialist to support various facets of environmental training, including cleanup, compliance and conservation in a fast-paced work environment at Fort Sam Houston, TX.

Essential Functions
  • Being physically present at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas (this is not a work from home position)
  • Manage high volume of training events for classroom and remote learning
  • Coordinate training locations, class rosters, registrations, schedules and logistics
  • Facilitate remote learning - setup and support distance learning classes
  • Provide technical assistance to participants and training instructors
  • Have a working knowledge of audio and visual (Classroom Mic system and Camcorder) equipment utilized for hybrid classes
  • Coordinate group hotel accommodations, bus scheduling transportation to classes and base access requests
  • Budget tracking with emphasis on training and travel voucher reconciliations
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
  • Must be very organized
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, specifically SharePoint, MS Teams and Excel (creating pick lists, using flash fill, auto filling data and pivot tables)
  • Familiarity with MS Teams and Zoom
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks/courses simultaneously
  • Work well independently and with others
  • Comfortable speaking to groups
  • High degree of customer service skills
  • Audio/visual technical ability, setup instructor computers, multi-media equipment and provide continued support
  • Ability to be a self-starter and show initiative
  • High school diploma or General Educational Development credential
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiar with database management and environmental training
  • Bachelor's degree
  • First Aid/CPR certification.

Compensation & Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48,000 to $52,000 per year and includes ERG's full slate of benefit offerings.
