Job description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $64hr - $69hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/ Engineering/MBA or other management qualification.
  • PMP or/and Prince 2 certified.
  • Total 6-9 years of experience, out of which at least 5 years of Project management experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, initiation and execution of complex infrastructure projects.
  • Responsible for resource allocation and utilization.
  • Facilitate meetings and collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, and third-party resources.
  • Identify risks and incorporate risk mitigation strategy/contingency plan.
  • Manage standards, procedures, and practices for record-keeping of contractual agreements.
  • Perform analysis that reflects planned vs actual variances.
  • Responsible for facilitating the execution of IT projects/programs by ensuring the quality, completeness, tracking and reporting of work items.
  • Project schedule development, status reporting, communications planning and management using MS Project/ADO/JIRA.
  • Perform project closing activities including operational transition.
  • Proven leader and trusted advisor championing project needs to deliver predictable and repeatable project results.
  • Control and track project performance and conduct regular team status meetings.
  • Reporting project status periodically to leadership.
  • Identify road blockers, plan issue resolution and drive them to closure.
  • Coordinate with other functions and organizational entities to identify and monitor issues, impacts and dependencies.
  • Manage end to end procurement related to hardware, software, people, partner onboarding, etc.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in IT Infrastructure Managed Services Transition & Transformation Projects.
  • Experience in managing diverse and multiple teams with complete ownership and responsibility.
  • Experience in managing customer engagement and third-party OEMs/partners.
  • Sound hands-on experience on project financial management, cost management and financial variance tracking.
  • Experience in Agile Project Management or Scrum methodologies.

Skills:

  • Proficient with Project Management Tools including MS Project and MS Office Suite.
  • Solid knowledge of and demonstrated experience in project management processes and methodologies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Well-developed negotiation and relationship skills.
  • Ability to build consensus.
  • Detail and big picture orientation.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a strong sense for structure and logic.
  • Proficient on MS Office (Advanced PowerPoint, Advanced Excel, Word, Visio) and Power BI, Qlik.
