Job description

NorthBay Health is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Gastroenterologist to join our growing team and help expand access to high-quality digestive health services in the Napa, CA region. This is an exciting opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with access to advanced technology and a strong referral network.
Our Gastroenterology services provide comprehensive care across the continuum-spanning prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of digestive health conditions. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality care in a primarily outpatient setting, with the flexibility to participate in inpatient consults if desired.
You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to clinical excellence, innovation, and outstanding patient outcomes.
Practice Details

  • Setting: Primarily outpatient; optional inpatient consultative services
  • Call: Shared call rotation with GI providers
  • Location: Napa, CA (new and expanding facilities)

Resources:

  • Advanced endoscopic technology (EGD, colonoscopy; ERCP/EUS if trained)
  • On-site imaging and diagnostic services
  • Robust GI support infrastructure
  • Team Support: Gastroenterologists, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and dedicated clinical staff

Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive and comprehensive total rewards package, which includes:

  • Total compensation package: Up to $796,695.00
  • Income Guarantee (W2): $550,000
  • Sign on bonus up to $40,000

Compensation Structure

NorthBay Health uses a structured compensation framework. Staff-level positions use a step-based system (Steps 1-5) based on years of directly related experience, with Step 5 representing 20 or more years of experience in the role. Manager level and above positions are paid a fixed annual base salary and are eligible for a variable incentive compensation plan. Physician compensation is structured based on specialty and role requirements.

NorthBay Health is primarily an onsite organization due to the nature of healthcare. Some roles may allow hybrid or remote work based on business needs.

Remote work is not supported in Washington, Ohio, Wyoming, North Dakota, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or outside of the United States.

  • Unrestricted CA medical license and DEA license.
  • MD or DO
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship program
