Job description

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll lead the delivery of complex natural gas infrastructure projects while serving as a trusted advisor to clients. You'll oversee projects from early planning through construction and commissioning, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk across a portfolio of pipeline and gas facility projects. Projects may include FERC-regulated pipelines, meter and regulation (M&R) facilities, compressor stations, HDD crossings, launcher and receiver stations, pigging facilities, and in-line inspection (ILI) projects.

In this role, you'll lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, project managers, and technical specialists, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and meet client expectations. You'll mentor staff, support project execution best practices, coordinate internal stakeholders, and help teams successfully navigate technical, operational, and schedule-related challenges. You'll also be responsible for maintaining project performance, forecasting resource needs, and driving continuous improvement across project delivery efforts.

You'll also play a key role in growing and strengthening client relationships. You will regularly engage with clients to understand their needs, identify new opportunities, support proposals, and help expand our presence within strategic accounts. Success in this position comes from balancing strong project leadership with business development, team management, and the ability to build lasting partnerships both internally and externally.

This role is designated as remote, giving you the flexibility to primarily work from home while staying actively connected to your team and projects. We value collaboration and responsiveness, so we ask our remote team members to be available when in-office presence is neededโ€”such as for client meetings, team events, training sessions, or field-related project support.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 10+ years of experience managing pipeline, natural gas, utility, or energy infrastructure projects.
  • Experience leading large, complex pipeline and/or gas facility projects.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams and overseeing project execution, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Experience building and managing client relationships and supporting business development activities.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Meter & Regulation (M&R) facilities, Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), Launcher/Receiver facilities, Pigging & In-Line Inspection (ILI), compressor stations, or other gas facility infrastructure.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience with FERC-regulated pipeline projects.
  • Experience with compressor station and large gas facility projects, including centrifugal and reciprocating compression equipment.
  • Experience managing Project Managers and technical staff.
  • Consulting engineering and/or seller-doer experience.

What We Offer:

  • A supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and encourages innovation.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and career development.
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including generous paid time off, 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, and flexible work schedules.
  • Benefits offered include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually. Full-time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours. May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
