Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of clientsโ€™ mental health status, incorporating clinical interviews and standardized assessment tools.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's unique mental health challenges.
  • Facilitate regular therapy sessions, either individually or in group settings, providing tools and strategies for clients to achieve their personal mental health goals.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate clientsโ€™ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, making referrals to psychiatrists or additional support services as required to address comprehensive client needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse range of clients, including those struggling with substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and eating disorders. Your ability to build rapport and trust with clients from various cultural and economic backgrounds will be essential in fostering a therapeutic alliance that encourages openness and long-term healing.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in a similar role, with proficiency in conducting assessments and delivering psychotherapeutic interventions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of mental health diagnosis, treatment options, and best practices related to culturally responsive care.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and a strong capacity for building relationships with a diverse client base.
Preferred Experience
  • Background in clinical practice involving integrated behavioral health approaches or experience in community health settings.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, teletherapy applications, and associated technological tools.
  • Experience in crisis intervention, with the ability to assess risk and implement safety planning proactively.
  • Strong capacity for providing both individual and group therapy, adapting techniques to meet client needs.
