As an LCSW at Acapulco Community Health Services, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual and couples therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Conducting intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and treatment needs.
• Maintaining accurate and timely client records and documentation through our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Scheduling ongoing appointments with clients, ensuring an organized and updated calendar.
• Working collaboratively with other therapists in case consultations, fostering an environment of shared knowledge and professional growth.
• Utilizing a billing service to manage claims, insurance accounts, and benefit eligibility checks, allowing you to focus on client care.

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals and couples from various age groups and backgrounds. You will engage with clients dealing with a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Your contributions will play a vital role in helping clients achieve better mental health outcomes and improve their overall quality of life.

The requirements for consideration include:

• A Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LCSW licensure to practice independently.
• Exceptional professionalism, strong therapeutic boundaries, cultural competency, and self-motivation.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to balance caseloads effectively.
• Willingness to work a minimum of 20-25 hours per week, with availability for at least two evenings weekly.

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with:

• Significant training and/or experience specifically working with couples and relationship dynamics.
• Experience in a remote or telehealth setting, utilizing virtual platforms effectively for client interactions.
