Position Summary:
You will become part of a highly respected team of:
- 16 Pediatric Neurologists
- 5 Pediatric Epileptologists
- 15 Nurse Practitioners
- An established 8-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)
- An expanded EMU
- Full spectrum epilepsy surgical treatment capabilities
- Recognition by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers
- Routine EEG
- Ambulatory EEG
- Long-term video EEG
- EEGs
- ICU monitoring
- Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) recordings
- Primary shift: Weekdays, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM EST
- May be required for weekend evening shift per month (Saturday or Sunday start), as needed
- Participate in patient management upon request from the neurologist on call
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Collaborate closely with neurology, neurosurgery, neuropsychology, nursing, and allied health professionals
- Contribute to program development, education, and research initiatives

The Pediatric Epileptologist will focus on EEG interpretation and clinical management of patients with epilepsy during nights, playing a vital role in continuous, high-quality patient care.

Requirements:
• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board-certified/board-eligible in Child Neurology with subspecialty training in Epilepsy/Clinical Neurophysiology
• Ability to obtain an Ohio Medical License
