  • Develop scalable backend services, integration layers, and data access patterns (SQL/ORM) optimized for performance and maintainability.
  • Build and evolve solutions across new and existing products, demonstrating the flexibility to context-switch, learn new domains quickly, and deliver value in ambiguous or fast-changing environments.

AI-Assisted Development Tooling
  • Leverage AI-powered development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar to accelerate coding, improve code quality, and streamline day-to-day development workflows.
  • Stay current on emerging developer productivity tools and share best practices with the broader engineering team.

Collaboration & Engineering Culture
  • Participate actively in code reviews, architecture discussions, and incident management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure alignment on priorities, technical direction, and delivery timelines.
  • Contribute to a healthy, adaptive engineering culture - one that embraces change, resolves conflicting approaches constructively, and continuously improves.

Experience & Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 7+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience with strong emphasis on the .NET ecosystem (C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, etc.).
  • Solid experience building REST APIs, modern web UIs, and cloud-native applications on Azure.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across multiple products, platforms, or domains - thriving in environments where priorities shift and new challenges arise regularly.
  • Strong plus: Hands-on experience with DevOps tooling and practices (AWS, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar).
  • Strong plus: Practical knowledge of application security principles and experience embedding security into the development lifecycle.
  • Strong plus: Experience with development related to payment processing.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity and code quality.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Ability Requirements
  • Passion for building high-quality, maintainable software with strong attention to detail.
  • Versatile and adaptable - comfortable operating across the full stack, picking up new technologies, and pivoting as product and business needs evolve.
  • Self-motivated, pragmatic problem-solver who can work effectively amid evolving requirements and emerging product landscapes.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across engineering, product, security, and business teams.
  • Solid understanding of secure software development practices (authentication/authorization, secrets management, OWASP fundamentals).
  • Familiarity with DevOps concepts including CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and operational monitoring.
  • Ability to research, evaluate, and apply new technologies responsibly where they add measurable business value.
  • Thrives in collaborative environments, demonstrates intellectual curiosity and a growth mindset, and contributes to a resilient, high-performing engineering culture.
