We are currently looking for a Lead IT Solution Engineer to join our team in Holland, MI.

Job Overview

We are seeking a Lead SAP Full-Stack Developer to drive the design, development, and delivery of innovative IT solutions within our S/4HANA environment. This role provides technical leadership by guiding architecture decisions, establishing best practices, and mentoring junior developers to ensure high quality, scalable software. Based onsite at our Holland, MI headquarters, you will play a critical role in building modern SAP applications while advancing development methodologies across the team. Ideal candidates bring deep SAP technical expertise, a passion for hands on development, and the ability to lead complex initiatives from concept through delivery.

Job Responsibilities
  • Define and analyze user requirements and design technical solutions.
  • Design and architect complex software solutions.
  • Oversee the development, testing, and implementation of software solutions.
  • Promote technical excellence and best practices within the team.
  • Effectively communicate technical information to stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance development processes.
  • In coordination with the Project Manager, lead project planning activities utilizing agile development methodologies and provide technical input.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar field
  • Education Equivalency: Associate's Degree plus 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience if no post-secondary education
  • 7+ years of design, development, and support experience in the relevant technology stack with a Bachelor’s degree, OR 5+ years with a Master’s degree
  • Experience with SAP Fiori and RAP
  • Expertise in Key User and Pro Developer Extensibility
  • 2 years technical leadership and mentorship experience
  • Ability to travel outside of Holland, MI headquarters (domestic and international) up to approximately 5% of the time
  • Ability to collaborate across and support international teams and time zones
  • Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI; this position does not offer remote or hybrid work 
  • Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position

Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of design, development, and support experience in relevant technology stack
  • 2+ years of SAP S/4HANA development experience, including Fiori, RAP, and Key User & Pro Developer Extensibility
  • Strong experience in Classic ABAP and Modern ABAP (S/4 2021+), including ABAP in Eclipse (BAS)Experience with REST APIs, OData v4, SAP Gateway Services, and tools such as Postman
  • ABAP expertise including Object-Oriented Programming (Classes), Module Pool, Function Groups, Reports, Enhancements, User Exits, Data Dictionary, ALV/ALV IDA, BAPI, RFC, IDoc, and Adobe Forms
  • Functional and technical experience across SAP modules such as PPDS, aATP, SD, LE/WM, MM, FI, and SCM
  • Experience supporting S/4HANA transformations or greenfield initiatives, with prior ECC enhancement or migration exposure
  • Ability to provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on in development
  • Experience mentoring developers to improve team capability and code quality
  • Strong ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies
  • Working knowledge of AI tools and incorporating them into development workflows
  • Manufacturing industry experience
  • Passion for technology and continuous improvement in development practices
