Job description

Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer

SG2 Recruiting has partnered with TREND Health Partners to spearhead the search for a visionary Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer. This is a pivotal opportunity to join a dynamic team and directly influence the company's next phase of growth. If you are a strategic thinker ready to make a tangible impact, we want to hear from you.

Company Overview

At TREND Health Partners, we are transforming the healthcare space by developing innovative, data-driven technologies that solve complex compliance and financial challenges. We leverage cutting-edge artificial intelligence, robust cloud infrastructure, and modern architectural patterns to deliver high-scale, reliable solutions. Our engineering culture values continuous learning, technical agility, and the practical application of emerging AI technologies to accelerate real-world product delivery.

Role Summary

As a Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer, your primary mission is to plan, build, and deliver high-impact features across our entire technology stack. You will design reliable backend systems in .NET/C# and interactive frontend applications in Angular, utilizing advanced event-driven architectures (CQRS and Event Sourcing). In this role, you will also pioneer the use of AI-assisted tools and orchestrate agent-driven workflows to accelerate engineering throughput, ensuring all deliverables align with company OKRs and strict security guardrails.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, production-grade applications using .NET/C# for backend services and Angular for modern user interfaces.

  • Build and operate secure, resilient cloud-native solutions entirely within the AWS ecosystem (ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS).

  • Implement and scale sophisticated architectural patterns, including CQRS and event-sourced systems, supported by MongoDB and OpenSearch.

  • Leverage and manage cutting-edge AI-assisted coding tools (such as Copilot, Claude Code, and multi-agent workflows) to safely accelerate software delivery, refactoring, and testing.

  • Validate and audit AI-generated code to guarantee absolute accuracy, security, and long-term maintainability through proactive testing and guardrails.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, QA, Data Science, and Platform teams to translate strategic goals into seamless product features.

  • Mentor and guide other engineers on the team through collaborative pairing, architectural feedback, and rigorous code reviews.

Qualifications

Must-Haves (Required)
  • Proven Engineering Experience: Extensive hands-on history of building, deploying, and maintaining complex production-grade software.

  • Modern Tech Stack Mastery: Advanced, full-stack proficiency in backend development (.NET/C#) and frontend component design (Angular).

  • Architectural Expertise: Demonstrated practical experience implementing CQRS and event sourcing patterns in high-throughput applications.

  • Cloud & Data Proficiency: Solid working experience with AWS services, MongoDB, and search technologies like OpenSearch.

  • AI-Assisted Development: Experience utilizing AI coding companions daily to build real, validated softwareโ€”not just for casual experimentation.

  • Strong Communication: The ability to clearly articulate your validation processes, testing discipline, and structural decisions to team members.

Nice-to-Haves (Preferred)
  • Domain-Driven Design: Familiarity with DDD concepts, including aggregates, projections, commands, and read models.

  • System Modernization: Experience guiding legacy architectures toward reactive, event-driven structures.

  • Industry Background: Prior experience navigating regulated domains such as healthcare technology, fintech, or compliance-driven environments.

Mental and Physical Demands

  • Work Environment: This is a sedentary role that involves prolonged use of a computer and a keyboard. You must be comfortable working in a standard office or remote setup.

  • Cognitive Focus: This role requires high-level analytical focus, including reading complex technical documentation, translating abstract business goals, and problem-solving.

  • Interactive Communication: Constant verbal and written collaboration is required to coordinate across parallel workstreams and multi-agent workflows.

Related Duties as Assigned

  • Flexibility of Duties: This job description represents the primary core responsibilities of the role; you may be asked to support other engineering initiatives or tasks as business needs evolve.

  • Compliance: You will be expected to complete standard background screenings and follow all internal compliance, security, and data privacy policies.

  • Accommodations: Reasonable accommodations will gladly be made to enable individuals with disabilities to successfully perform all essential duties outlined here.

Logistics

  • Benefits: TREND Health Partners offers comprehensive core benefits, including medical, dental, and vision plans, as well as tax-advantaged accounts such as HSAs and FSAs. Additionally, employees can access life, disability, and voluntary coverage optionsโ€”such as accident, hospital, and pet insuranceโ€”year-round through the Nava Benefits App and an Employee Assistance Program.

  • Work Location: Remote (United States)
