ZenSource is seeking a seasoned Senior Full Stack Developer (Drupal) to play a critical role in building, enhancing, and scaling cloud-native, content-driven solutions for our clients. This individual will be a hands-on senior contributor, providing immediate impact across Drupal back-end development while supporting modern cloud, serverless, and AI-enabled initiatives on our roadmap.
This role is ideal for a highly capable engineer who is comfortable owning technical solutions end-to-end and helping establish best practices, as the team continues to grow. The Senior Engineer will collaborate closely with solution architects, product leaders, and clients, while setting a strong technical foundation ahead of future junior-level hires.
Measures:
  • High-quality, production-ready Drupal solutions delivered efficiently
  • Successful support and enhancement of Drupal 10-11 platforms
  • Contribution to serverless and AI-enabled features aligned to the product roadmap
  • Strong collaboration and technical leadership within a growing engineering team
  • Scalable, secure, and maintainable architecture aligned with cloud best practices

Reports to: SVP, product
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Drupal & Full Stack Development
    • Design, develop, and maintain robust Drupal back-end solutions, with a focus on performance, scalability, and security, accessibility (WCAG AA), and Core Web Vitals.
    • Work across the full stack as needed, ensuring smooth integration between front-end experiences and back-end systems.
    • Architect integrations between Drupal and CRM/marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Constant Contact) to support automated lead capture and marketing workflows.
    • Lead development efforts on Drupal 10-11 projects, including custom modules, integrations, and migrations.
    • Troubleshoot complex issues across environments and provide production support when required, including supporting other internal teams (e.g., the support department) with issue resolution and architecture guidance.
  • Cloud & Serverless Technologies
    • Contribute to serverless architectures supporting platform and product innovation.
    • Develop and maintain Python-based services and AWS Lambda functions.
    • Collaborate on cloud-native designs leveraging AWS services at a foundational level.
    • Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and cost-efficient.
  • AI-Enabled Development
    • Support and extend AI-related features and integrations across applications.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement AI-driven functionality into client and platform solutions.
    • Apply experience with AI development to practical, production-ready use cases.
  • Technical Leadership & Collaboration
    • Serve as a senior technical resource and mentor to future junior developers, providing ad-hoc technical guidance and support across the broader engineering org and partner-agency developers.
    • Establish and follow engineering best practices, documentation, and coding standards.
    • Partner with architects, product managers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
    • Lead client-facing pitch meetings and technical demos, communicating platform value and building stakeholder confidence.
    • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement efforts.
