Job description

Precision Resources is presently recruiting an experienced PHP Developer to design, build, and maintain the web applications and services for one of our clients. This person will be responsible for developing features end-to-end, contribute to architectural decisions, and partner with their Senior Web Developer on the systems that drive their business. This is not an entry-level position.

This person should be comfortable shipping production code with limited oversight, debugging across the full stack, and improving systems they didnโ€™t originally write. This is a REMOTE position with the ability to attend occasional company meetings. The ideal candidate will be local to the Pittsburgh, PA area.

Compensation is $75,000 to $90,000 with a full complement of benefits. The Job Design, build, test, and maintain PHP/MySQL web applications and supporting services. Diagnose and resolve production issues.

Provide expertise and direction in the modernization of applications for improved performance, scalability, and reliability. Collaborate with the development team on improvements to existing sites and on new initiatives Continuously research, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate these into technical requirements.
